At GIIS, we understand the needs of expatriate parents. That is why we offer flexibility of admission subject to availability of seats.
Admissions are open for new students all year long for academic sessions starting in April each year. The registration process opens from August the previous year, while the application reviewing process by our Admissions Team commences in January each year.

Born in Mumbai Caesar D’silva has spent his 25 years in Gujarat contributing to educational institutions and working as a mentor to many teachers and students.
Mr. Caesar D’silva has worked as Principal / Director of schools affiliated to ICSE, CBSE, GSEB and Cambridge since 1995. He was appointed as Regional Secretary and Treasurer for North West Region schools of the Association of ICSE Schools (ASISC). He has also been a founder Principal of four International Schools in different parts of Gujarat. Currently he is heading Global Indian International School as a Founder Principal which has 21 branches across seven countries. He is a learner, optimist educator and a trainer. He loves children and enjoys being with them.
Ms. Gayatri Moras has over 18 years of experience in the field of education. She is an alumnus of St. Xavier’s College. Ahmedabad. She has done her Masters in English Literature and Bachelors in Education from Gujarat University. Her repertoire includes both the ICSE and CBSE curricula. She started her teaching career with an ICSE school subsequently working with a reputed CBSE school where she also served as the Sr. Mistress. During her assignments, she held various responsibilities including that of Deputy CS for NEET, JEE, CTET, AISSCE & AISSE.
She is the recipient of the ‘Teachers’ Day Award 2019’ from IIHM and the ‘Best District Teacher Award 2016’ from SOF. Her forte is English Language teaching, Mass Media Studies and Dramatics.
She joined GIIS Ahmedabad as the Vice Principal in June 2020. Besides managing her responsibilities as the Vice Principal, she teaches Grade 12 students and is the Incharge for CBSE related work. Her conviction and passion are to promote the academic, emotional and social well being of the children and she believes in working in synergy with the parent community.
She has been working with GIIS Ahmedabad since April 2015. She heads Global Montessori Plus Programme which caters education in the Pre-primary segment. She has been managing and coordinating for Grade 1 since 2016. As a head she is responsible for training the staff and curriculum delivery. Additionally, she is managing the events held at GIIS Ahmedabad, various competitions; Co-scholastics Activities of the school. She has been a support in the administrative as well as HR related work as required. She held other responsibilities as a Deputy CS for NEET exam. She holds a Montessori Certificate and B. Ed Degree. She has contributed to the development of revised GMP –V2 curriculum programme and currently working for GALS track- 11.
Prior to this she was working as an HOD managing academics and administrative work. She started her career in the Education field in 1998 as teacher of Pre-segment and since 2006 worked as a coordinator of Pre-primary and managed the events of the school. In 2011 she served as a HOD of the school.
Ms Anila James has about 23 years of experience in the field of education. She had her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya schools of different cities till std XII followed by her graduation from St Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad, Teachers Training from AG Teachers College, Ahmedabad. Driven by passion, she began her career in the year 1996 as a teacher in a premier school in Ahmedabad. Later she shifted to Chandigarh in 2005 and worked with an upcoming school in Zirakpur, Ambala Road from 2006 to 2010 as Vice-Principal and later as the Principal of the school.
She returned back to Ahmedabad in 2010 and started working in a school as a teacher both in the primary and secondary section. During her tenure, she has coordinated for various events that brought laurels to the institutions. She has assisted both the Academic Director and Managing Director for various projects. She was promoted as the Principal of the school in the year 2016. She joined GIIS in 2019 as the academic coordinator-primary section. Besides her duties as a coordinator, she is also teaching science in grade 3 and 4.
I am an alumnus of M.G. Science College and have completed my MSc in Biotechnology from Gujarat University. I have worked as a Research Associate in the National Innovative Foundation and have been in the field of education for the last 9 years. I have worked with schools in GSEB, IB and CBSE boards. However my major experience in education is with CBSE board. During my tenure with GIIS I was one of the founder teachers and in the last academic session I was promoted to coordinator position. I have successfully completed many responsibility given when I was a teacher in this institute such as:
● I was chosen by the National academic head for formulating and preparing STEM activities across India campus for 4 years.
● I was selected as national subject incharge for science (grade 3-8) for 3 years under which I prepared curriculum planner, broad plans and blue prints of question papers for each exam.
● I have been chosen as a team member in developing a common 9 gems model for entire GIIS schools. I have fulfilled my duties as a coordinator along with becoming overall coordinator for all India segment 6-8.
● I have always strived for excellence and I am a passionate teacher.
Dr. Ananya Das has been associated with the field of education for the last 15 years and got the opportunity to work with reputed institutions specialized in NEET and JEE preparation. She completed her Doctorate degree in plant biotechnology from University of Kalyani, West Bengal. She has done her Masters in Biotechnology and Bachelors in Industrial microbiology, chemistry and botany from B.A.M.U, Aurangabad. She has experience teaching in a broad spectrum of boards like C.B.S.E, I.C.S.E, MSBSHSE, WBBSE, GSEB. As she is NET qualified and Ph.D and has experience to teach postgraduate students.
Apart from that she has 13 research publications in reputed International Science Journals. She started her teaching career in an organization known as an icon for medical and engineering entrance and then continued with schools and other educational institutes. She received certificate on Laboratory Quality Management System and Internal Audit as per IS/ISO/IEC 17025 from Bureau of Indian Standard and successfully conducted 2 audits as personal manager in NABL certified APEDA lab.
